ILEP is a consortium of international non-governmental organizations with a shared vision of a world free from leprosy, and an acknowledgment that none of us can achieve this on our own. ILEP members raise funds from public and institutional sources.
ILEP has a strong presence across 18 states and union territories, focusing on 125 high priority districts.
Provides field/hospital-based care through 39 tertiary care facilities, operates 19 field-based projects and 19 research studies, supports MCR production and supply through 44 manufacturing units operating across 13 states of the country.
ILEP contributes to AMR surveillance through two dedicated Apex research laboratories and strengthens the National Leprosy Eradication Programme with the efforts of 15 NLEP Consultants.
We actively collaborate with Central Leprosy Division
(CLD), National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP), WHO India and key stakeholders to strengthen leprosy eradication efforts across the country.
“ILEP India’s dedicated support to the National Leprosy Eradication Programme working with Central and State Governments, the leprosy affected and other key stakeholders has the potential to turn the dream of zero leprosy into reality.”
