- Enhance Govt health care system including Doctors, Nurse, and ASHA workers capacity of leprosy case detection, diagnosis, management and referrals.
- Enhance community understating about leprosy and “Community Based Case Detection ((CBID)” as a strategic approach towards early detection of leprosy.
- Special action plan (SAP) developed and implemented in tea gardens in Assam state for early detection of leprosy.
- Leprosy Case Detection Campaign (LCDC), and Focused leprosy campaign (FLC) activities in hard to reach area in north east India where geographical reach is difficult and border conflict is existing.
