Case story of Ritesh
Ritesh Das, 45/M, MB (A). He runs a Sports equipment shop and his family consists of his wife, five-year-old daughter and mother.
Mohan Rao from Medchal, Telangana went to Dubai for labor work and was happy in 2018. But after some time, he was feeling sick very often. One day he noticed that there is a white patch on his thighs. A few days later he noticed that his hands were losing strength and were not able to handle the work. Over a period, the management of his company found he is always Ill, he lost his job and was sent back to his hometown in India due to health grounds.
He went to an Orthopaedic doctor and he prescribed a week’s medication. But there was no difference in his health. Then consulted a Dermatologist who referred him to Sivananda Rehabilitation Home in Hyderabad. At this hospital, the staff checked whether there is any loss of strength in hands and legs and found foot drop and claw hands. They advised me to get admission to the hospital without delay for getting the required physiotherapy and other treatments.
Accordingly, he was admitted to the hospital and blood tests and other tests were done and prescribed me medication for a period of 12 months. Now he completed the treatment, practicing self-care at home if required physio sessions are arranged at the hospital.
Hopes are not faded away from Mohan. The dream of going back to Dubai is still alive in him and for living a normal life.
